It may be a ‘free’ app but considering its a proprietary one for use with HP printers, it is far below the standard where it needs to be. I have had HP smart for a while now and although it works fine as far as connecting to my printer, it is very VERY basic. I’ve also found the printer will suddenly stop midway through a large document print and it’s not straightforward reprinting from where you left off. I’ve managed to input my payment details end set up a subscription. So now I’m low on ink, but the service doesn’t recognise I’m low on ink because it says I’m not connected and therefore won’t send me any ink out. The app on my phone connects fine when printing and scanning, but the minute I try to connect to buy new ink, it says the printer is offline (it clearly isn’t - the blue wifi light is on and I have full signal on my mobile too). I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I’ve struggled with my Smart Printer since buying it in January.
